Dr. Kantor completed his post-graduate medical education at MCP/Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed a fellowship in Nephrology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where he served as chief nephrology fellow.

Dr. Kantor served as an associate clinical professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was voted Top nephrologist by Vegas, Inc magazine in 2015 and 2016.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Kantor has an interest in clincial research and currently serves as a principal investigator in several phase 3 clinical studies being conducted at Nevada Kidney Disease & Hypertension Centers.

When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Kantor enjoys traveling and experiencing the diverse cultures and peoples of the world.

Dr. King received his undergraduate degree from UCLA. He earned his medical degree from Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship at University of California, Irvine Medical Center. Dr. King received his ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine in 1999 and his ABIM board certification in Nephrology in 2001.

Dr. King is the medical director of Acute Dialysis in Las Vegas for Fresenius Medical Care. He has served as Chief of Nephrology at Mountain View Hospital as well as Vice Chief of Nephrology at Sunrise Hospital. He has also served on the Credentialing Committee at Sunrise Hospital and the Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee at Mountain View Hospital. Dr. King is currently serving on the Credentials Committee of St Rose Siena, San Martin and Delima campuses.

Dr. King is a member of the American College of Physicians and American Society of Nephrology. He is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians, an honorary designation given to recognize doctors for their ongoing individual service and contribution to medicine. Dr. King was voted one of Health Care Quarterly's Top Doctors of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2025 in Southern Nevada.

Dr. Mulchandani grew up in Pune, India. After completing her medical school in her home country, she moved to the United States in 1996 where she completed her residency and internship at the Rochester General Hospital and her fellowship in nephrology at John Hopkins University. Dr. Mulchandani moved to Las Vegas in 2002 and considers herself a native.

Her specific interests are acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension and electrolyte abnormalities.

When she is not working, Dr. Mulchandani enjoys traveling with her husband. Hawaii, Costa Rica, Panama and Ecuador are among their favorite destinations.

In her free time, Dr. Mulchandani also enjoys hiking in Redrock and Mt. Charleston and practicing yoga a few times a week.

Michael Nicolas graduated from Chamberlain University with his MSN-FNP. He is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He worked in a Dialysis clinic and ICU and has experience managing patients with various kidney disorders. He was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the USA in 2000. He graduated with BSN from Our Lady of Fatima University and served in the U.S. Army for three years. He speaks both English and Tagalog fluently. He loves traveling, outdoor activities, and hiking with his kids.

Rowena Maniago is a board-certified nurse practitioner, who specializes on Nephrology. She received her BSN from Angeles University Foundation (AUF) in Angeles City, Philippines, in 2014, she then earned her MSN from United States University (USU) in San Diego, California, in 2021. She received certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family nurse practitioner. She spent her entire eight-year nursing career in the critical care unit (ICU), medical-surgical, and telemetry units. She was employed in acute care settings, such as Magnet Hospitals and Level 1 Trauma Centers.

Marphyrose Dirige Galang obtained her BSN degree from Angeles University Foundation in Angeles City, Philippines in 2008. Before moving to the US in 2012, she started working in pediatrics. She became then a medical-surgical RN at Southeastern Regional Medical Center at Lumberton, NC and transitioned to critical care. In 2015, she moved to Las Vegas and worked in the intensive care unit at Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center.  While attending graduate school, she worked full-time and prided herself on being a mentor and leader and was promoted to a clinical supervisor role on her unit. Throughout graduate school, she found her passion for nursing continued to provide the best possible care to her patients as she transitioned to the role of being a nurse practitioner. Marphyrose graduated from Chamberlain University in Illinois with her Master of  Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner degree in June of 2021. She had been a board-certified family nurse practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners since April 2021 and brings with her more than 10 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, medical-surgical, and critical care.

Leslie Kovar is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. She also earned her nursing master’s degree with distinction from the United States University, San Diego, California. Beginning at a young age, she had a strong desire to assist her father, who is battling end-stage renal illness, and this interest blossomed into a lifelong dedication to helping others with kidney disease. 

Throughout her career, she has worked as a nurse in a wide variety of settings, including those dealing with trauma, cancer, neurosurgery, kidney transplantation, and adult and pediatric dialysis. She prides herself on her reliability and dedication to her work. As a result of her extensive experience caring for patients from all backgrounds, she has developed strong interpersonal and communication skills and a solid understanding of other cultures. One of her primary objectives as a nurse practitioner with a decade of nursing experience is to offer patients not just medical treatment but also emotional and spiritual support.

When not attending to her work, she enjoys adventure with her daughter and husband via lengthy driving vacations to adjacent states, dining at great restaurants, and enjoying the outdoors together as a family.

Dr. Quadeer was born and raised in Tulsa, OK.

She completed her medical school, residency and fellowship at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas at Houston, which is located in the world’s largest medical center. She is board certified in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Wei was born and raised in China where he attended medical school. After spending nearly five years in a research lab in the U.S., Dr. Wei was able to continue medical training and eventually became a board-certified internist and nephrologist. Having lived in almost every region of the country, he and his family finally settled down in the great state of Nevada.

Having completed a general surgery residency at NY Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Wei developed the necessary skills to allow him to create hemodialysis access for his patients when they need it. With this unique service, his practice is among the very few in the nation to provide the full spectrum of renal care for patients.

After a busy day of work, Dr. Wei enjoys spending time with wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, following the news and watching documentaries. Dr. Wei is proud to call the U.S. his country and deeply values the priviledge to practice medicine and help his patients live healthier lives.

Dr. Takieddine received his medical degree at the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his internal medicine training at Wayne State University and a Clinical Research Fellowship in Hypertension at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He completed his Clinical and Research Fellowship in Nephrology & Hypertension at the University of California, San Diego.

He was awarded Medical Leader of the Year 2002 by the National Kidney Foundation of Nevada and received senatorial recognition from Senator John Ensign.

Dr. Takieddine loves teaching. He loves to hike, travel and explore nature with friends and family. He loves pets and especially walking his dog Lilly very early in the morning.

Dr. Tandon received her medical degree at Government Medical College, Chandigarh, India. She moved to Nevada in 2005 before completing her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM), Las Vegas. She worked as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at UNSOM teaching residents and medical students. She then moved to Indianapolis to do her fellowship in Nephrology at Indiana University from 2011-2013 where she was also chief fellow.

She considers herself a native of Las Vegas and moved back to Las Vegas in 2013 and has been with NKDHC since then.

During her graduate program, Nicole served her peers as class president and upon graduation was selected to be part of the Pi Alpha National Honor Society in addition to receiving the Faculty Gold Key Award. Prior to obtaining her Masters degree, Ms. Salas received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2016 from San Diego State University. Ms. Salas started her Physician Assistant career in the Intensive Care Unit before specializing in interventional nephrology. Her goal is to deliver high quality medical care by utilizing evidence-based research and critical thinking to improve the quality of life of each patient that she has the pleasure to provide care for. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world and experiencing diverse cultures, especially through food.

Kristi Navarette is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Masters Degree in 2020. Ms. Navarette received her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics in 2011 and her Bachelors of Nursing in 2013 from Concordia University Irvine. Ms. Navarette started her nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit before specializing in Nephrology. She has a passion for nephrology because of the critical role the kidneys play on the entire body. Her goal is to deliver high quality medical care by utilizing evidence-based research and critical thinking to improve the quality of life of each patient that she has the pleasure to provide care for.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two boys.

Kristina is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in critical care, where she dealt with various patients and their needs. She graduated with a BSN from Nevada State College in 2014 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain University in Illinois in 2022. 

Her nursing career is marked by rigorous roles in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), where she worked for three years, and later advanced to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where she stayed for the next six years. She worked full-time while returning to school to further her education to provide better patient care as well as broaden her scope of practice.

Kristina's work as a nephrology nurse practitioner demonstrates her passion for patient care and education. She leverages her past experience and blends intensive care skills with sensitive post-op patient management to provide comprehensive care for patients with kidney-related conditions. Her dedication to improving patient outcomes through specialized care and education is a foundation for her practice.
